JONNY QUEST by Ron Salas
Here I am reaching back, way back, to the first rotation. I had this penciled halfway and then had to stop for some reason. I know it's a mess but here it is!

RED SONJA by Mr. Hawthorne
This is a work in progress, but as we're almost at the end of the week I wanted to try and post SOMETHING since there is a chance I won't finish this in time.
I intend to color this up (complete with freckles!), but until then I hope you can enjoy these meager pencils.
best,
Mike
PS - The inspiration for this piece comes from the movie TROY. Free No-prize to the first person to figure out which scene ;-)

THE BLACK BEETLE by Francesco Francavilla
Click on it for larger SIZE!!! ;)
And this is the second piece I was mentioning in the previous post:)
Ithas been about a year since we had the Black Beetle week here on Comic Twart (producing some of the best Twarts I have seen on this blog, IMO), and - because of my busy schedule - I haven't been drawing much of my creator owned favorite character since then. So I decided to "ketchup" on the Black Beetle, also to announce that his advetures will soon come back on Pulp Sunday and - possibly - in print format too. Fingers crossed. :)
Meanwhile hope you guys enjoy this rare Italian edition of Kara Bocek :)
Cheers,
Francesco

MAN-THING by Andy Kuhn
ALFRED HITCHCOCK by Andy Kuhn
Alfred Hitchcock was a master storyteller and filmmaker,
but I loved him from his appearances at
the beginning and end of his 60s TV show.
I'm old, but I'm still catching up!
PREACHER by Andy Kuhn
RED SONJA by Andy Kuhn
It's catch up week, and I'm catching up in a big way!
First up it's my Red Sonja drawing.
The composition for this piece was completely stolen (homaged)
from turn of the century illustrator N. C. Wyeth.
I just got a big book of his work, and I can't help but
be inspired by it (steal from it). What an amazing artist!
Thanks for looking!

BATMAN by Francesco Francavilla
Click on it for larger SIZE!!! ;)
For ketchup week I wanted to tackle a couple of subjects again. The first is Batman.
You can see more of this BATMAN 1935 concept here:
and more design work here.
Just a little thing I am working on in my spare time :)
I got another piece for Ketchup week in the work - stay tuned!
Cheers,
Francesco

Nick Fury b/w of Black Widow by Rev. Dave Johnson
Well, I never got to draw a twart for Nick Fury. So maybe this makes up for it. And it is Ketch-up week after all. I'm not sure what's more dangerous, Black Widow's knife or her hips. It's probably a good thing that ol' Nick Fury has already lost that eye. Anyways. Enjoy.
