ALFRED HITCHCOCK by Urbanbarbarian
I remember staying up late with my parents and watching Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" on television and being absolutely terrified. Birds are such lovely and gentle creatures, right? Wow, I had it all wrong...! [ click on the image to enlarge, if such a thing pleases you ]
UPDATE: Okay, I couldn't resist whipping up another one. Hope you dig it!

Nailed it. Love the follow-up...
FUCK, that's great!!!
Mike
Love them Toppi meets great fifties design.
LOVE THEM BOTH, DAN! :)
The new one is my favorite but both are strong designs.
And I am so glad you grayscaled the name in the first one: I was gonna suggest to do that cause initially it was a bit hard to read that beutiful power line with birds. Now it's PERFECT! :)
Now you are making me want to do another Hitch piece ;)
Cheers,
Francesco
Thanks guys! Both were tons o' fun! And yeah, @Francesco - the black type fought the phone wire too much and I also went vintage with the BG color to give a more retro feel.
I'm frightened to see more of your Hitchcock! I hope you make that into a print.
my god these look incredible, dan!
the second one's just perfect.
Dan, these are COMPLETELY incredible.
BRILLIANT.
