the bottom is, at least in some small way, based on a series of prints by different artists that casterman put out about fifteen years ago to celebrate one of tintin's anniversaries. the bilal piece had tintin all messed up and hiding from secret agents in some slushy distopian-type future. only time i ever remember liking bilal's work.
