FRANK FRAZETTA TRIBUTE by Ron Salas
I've been a Frazetta fan ever since I first saw his illustrations for Tarzan and the Jewels of Opar. Nobody could depict beauty, grace, and power the way he does. His ability to create dynamic images with dramatic lighting and deceptively simple compositions astounds me and remains a source of inspiration and study to this day.
Rest in Peace, sir.

Great work, Ron :)
Ron, Excellent tribute.
Thanks guys!
Nice job Ron!
Thanks Kirk!
Absolutely epic, Ron. When Evan was over this last weekend we were cursing your name for this level of awesomeness.
M!TCH
hah Thanks Mitch! I'd already sketched another Conan earlier in the week but wanted to do something worthy of Frazetta.
Mitch is right, as soon as I saw this I was cursing you left and right, Ron. I'm absolutely blown away by this one. The dissipation of Crom into the back is beautiful.
haha Thanks, I think the Crom effect worked better than I could have hoped.
I hope I have time to colour this to make a print for Heroes.
beautiful!

Thanks guys!
