Anyhoo, nice one to Ron who suggested the first proper superhero. This is honestly my first time drawing Hawkman, so i'm not sure if this is the right version of him or anything. Hope ye like.

Brother, that is one beautiful Hawkman. I dig that you made the helmet wings a bit smaller, and enhanced the boot claws. The energy in the wings is epic. This Hawkman looks like a warrior, ready to mace some serious villains. I love seeing Hawkman this way. Great work. Greak ink. All around awesome.
This is fantastic. I love those wings. It's a great take on them. I'm glad you chose the more impressionistic approach.
I love your composition as well, down to the use of the splatter to close the curve up top.

Thanks a lot lads. Oran; the ears maybe seem a little smaller since his head is craned down, but i didn't put too much thought into that to be honest. I did try and make the straps a bit more interesting to draw and yeah, i'm glad you spotted what i did with the boots. That at least, was deliberate.
Ron, this being your choice and all, i'm especially glad you like it. I was originally gonna draw 'normal' feathers, but the i just decided to have some fun with the wings. Looks better for it, i think.
