Mike - Thanks! I love the inking process so much, I went a little loose here, but inking for me is so cathartic, because I try and do the "heavy lifting" in my pencils so inking becomes much less stress and more making the page come alive!
Francesco - Thank you, sir! Welcome to the religion of Hawthorne. Hawthorne is good. Hawthorne is great. Where da Kool-Aid??
Dec - You're too kind! Thanks, that's a doozy of a compliment!

Fantastic, Mitch! I love the inks, but it's great to see the pencils too. Sharp as hell, and I love how you really liven it up so much with the inks.
Best,
mike
Killer (no pun intended ;)) composition, Mitch :D And I agree with Mike here: those pencils are as sharp as a razorblade :)
Cheers,
Francesco
I agree with Francesco agreeing with me. Everyone should agree with me :)

Argh! This is great! Best piece you've done for this blog by a mile, in my opinion. Everything just *works*

Gotta agree with Mike. But that's just smart thinking, in my book!
Torpedo knows how to live, man!
Love this - a good night out gone badly wrong. There's a dead guy on the table - WHY IS THAT CHICK SMILING?
And I've got to agree with everyone else - your pencils are super, super-tight.
Great job, Mr. Gerads!
Thanks Dan!
Thanks Dan: The Sequel! The gal I assume is just as messed up as Luca.
a-Thank-Ye Patrick!
This is sweet, Mitch! My favourite piece from you so far. Love the slick inks and the use of blacks.
This has a ton of energy.
Thanks, Ron! Absolutely surprised by how much you guys dug this piece.
